Light Speed!!!!! No driver!

I’ve been obsessing this for a while now and finally I got a chance to try it out. So I’ve always wanted to create something that looked unrealistic that had a sense of speed in it. The shoot involved mounting a tripod to my Mazda MX 5 and shooting a bunch of pictures while driving to and in San Francisco.

Long Exposure Light Painting. + Trip to see Fall Foliage.

You can learn to paint using longer exposures such as 1/4 second and try to move the camera why it is exposing. Doing so allows you to paint with whatever object that is lite on the viewfinder. Granted that you choose a good setting and you can get long exposure, its quite fun. 🙂

Getting to Tibet 2011

Shanghai

Recently, I went on a trip in which I had wanted to go for years.  Tibet was not a place that was easily accessible. While planning was fairly complicated due to inconsistencies of ticket prices and scarcity of transportation in and out of the region, the trip itself was fairly smooth. However, Tibet is a plateau region in southwest china and well above the sea level with an average elevation of 4,900 meters (16,000 ft). It is easy for first time travelers to such altitudes to get high-altitude sickness. Climbing 2 flight of stairs feels like climbing 10 as air is thinner and your heart has to work harder to provide more oxygen to the brain. In short, if you ever lived through college, you know how hangovers and shortness of breath feel like. It’s on par with the worst one you’ve ever experienced, but you learn to deal with things like this.

I recently spent a little under 3 months in Tokyo (May 31 to Aug 16th) working at an Architectural Office in Tokyo.

After the Earthquake and Tsunami disaster, there was much fear of radiation. Many Westerners and media believe Japan was in a state of crisis.
