I am sure that graduations are not too glamorous to photograph. There are usually Hordes of background distraction and repetitive photos with friends and family. I guess this you cannot escape. But what could be done is approach and preparation for a shot you envision. The hardest part of all this is know where your subject are coming from and which direction they will be going. That can simply be done by asking someone setting up. The guessing game is hard. You will never know how to take a shot without envisioning it first. Getting that creative shot….. well, that’s all just up to you. You feel it sometimes and other times, you dont. But setting yourself up for one, much harder.
